Checking In

Yesterday I was able to spend quality time with a number of my college friends while enjoying Spring Release in Walla Walla. After more than 2 years without seeing (or talking for that matter) to some of these individuals I was a bit nervous as to how our rondevue would play out. No need to worry -- the experience was fabulous. Same faces, smiles, kindness, laughter....slightly lowered tolerance to alcohol. ;) The experience made me realize the value of shared experience and keeping in touch with friends who can help place and anchor you. I love my memories of Whitman and the friendships I made there.
